ViolinistToolbelt uses third-party services for image processing and analysis (including AI-powered score generation). These services process your sheet music images according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal information (email, name) with these services beyond what is necessary for functionality.

7. Camera Permissions

ViolinistToolbelt requests camera access only for scanning sheet music. Your camera is used locally on your device and images are not automatically transmitted without your consent. You can deny camera permissions in your device settings at any time.

8. GDPR Rights (European Users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request permanent deletion of your data

Categories of Data Collected: Email, full name, user role, sheet music images, analysis results, app settings, and usage analytics.

How to Submit a Request: To exercise CCPA rights, contact us through the app or via the contact information in Section 11. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.

Shine the Light Act: California residents may also request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code Section 1798.83.

10. Children's Privacy

Violinist Toolbelt is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we will notify affected individuals without undue delay and in accordance with applicable laws. If required by law, we will notify you through email, phone, or other means, and provide information about the breach, the data involved, and steps you can take to protect yourself.

12. Cookies and Analytics

ViolinistToolbelt may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the app. These tools may collect anonymized usage data such as session duration, feature usage, and device type. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can opt out of analytics collection through your device settings.

Our application does not alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals from web browsers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of ViolinistToolBelt after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
